  • Here is the framework and steps of our coaching journey:

    1. Exploring Your Parenting Style & Challenges – Getting to know you, your family dynamics, and where you are in your parenting experience.

    2. Assessing What’s Working & What’s Not – Identifying strengths and areas where you’d like to see change: in your parenting, your child’s behavior, and your relationship.

    3. Clarifying Parenting Goals – Defining what you want to achieve for yourself and your child.

    4. Identifying Actionable Steps – Considering shifts in mindset, routines, or interactions that support your parenting goals.

    5. Collaborating on a Personalized Approach – Developing a plan tailored to your family’s needs, values, and circumstances.

    6. Establishing a Clear Parenting Strategy – Creating a practical, flexible roadmap for implementing changes.

  • Parent consultation is very flexible! Our Initial Consultation will be 90 minutes and we will cover a lot of ground identifying particular parenting difficulties you want to shift, and compiling the information and resources needed to leave you with a solid set of strategies to try. After that, some parents find they are ready to give a new plan a try and come back when needed. Most parents find that some shorter, frequent check-ins are helpful early on followed by less frequent - monthly or seasonally - is helpful to stay on course after the initial meeting.

The heart of my coaching approach is guidance through each stage, with a focus on key developmental milestones and essential skills.
